Dr. Lerman is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.  He is experienced in psychopharmacology and various forms of psychotherapy and family therapy. Dr. Lerman treats adults, adolescents, and children.

Dr. Lerman attended medical school and served as an intern in Internal Medicine at Downstate College of Medicine. He trained in Adult and Child Psychiatry at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center. He  received a Certificate in Psychoanalysis from Columbia University.  He currently serves as  Residency Training Director in the Department of Psychiatry at Westchester Medical Center.
